Fábrica dos Sabores
A Time Out diz

The service has been degrading through the years but today was just insulting.- 15 minutes to be able to order- 40 minutes waiting for food until drinks arrive with no explanation
After this we decided to leave and the lady owner threatened that if we filled a complaint she'd call the police as we said we were not paying for our drinks (that we didn't drink) after we asked for the complaint book.
I used to be a regular but now I'm not going back there ever again. It's a pity that a place that used to be so good is now in such a bad shape.
After arriving at Fábrica dos Sabores and sitting down, we had to wait 15 minutes before being able to order. Around 35/40 minutes later, we still hadn't received our food. Our drinks were brought to us around 30 minutes later and only because the family sitting next to us was also becoming upset about the delay in the service and demanded that at least the drinks should be served. We did not touch our drinks as we were waiting for the food. As the food did not arrive after having been waiting for more or less 50 minutes (since entering and sitting), we decided to leave. We asked to make a formal complaint but the owner demanded that we had to pay for the drinks that, may I recall you, we did not drink at all as we were waiting for the food and it was taking way too long. We were threatened by the owner - she said that if we were to write the formal complaint, she would use our personal information to file a police complaint about not paying for the drinks (that we didn't have!). None of the employees was nice, we were never given an explanation to why it was taking so long or even received an apology. On the contrary, we were threatened for wanting to file a formal complaint about sitting for almost an hour in this establishment without receiving our food. We witnessed many other couples and families complaining about the same problem, that it was taking way too long for the orders to be served. I have never been so mistreated before, the service here is really, really bad - terrible! As for the food, I would love to review it, but as you can see, I did not get a chance to taste it this time. I will never visit this place again as being threatened and having to leave without eating after waiting for almost one hour is just unacceptable.
